  1. Hello. This is my first post. I am trying to find a way to make my Samsung Blu ray player all region so I can play everything. It is Samsung model #BD-C6500/XAA. Thanks for your help

  4. Well after reading more posts on this page, apparently there is no hack for Samsung players. Oh well, it was a Xmas gift so I can't complain. Back to 220 Electronics I go.

  5. Samsung BD-H6500 (European model) FW 1109
Hi I've looked everywhere I can think of on the internet - surely there is a way of getting this player to read all my US DVDs. I'm not so worried about my blurays (don't have that many & most are region free).
I tried the "repeat, 57538, 9, power off" several times - didn't see the "4"
If someone knows of a way that works I'd very much appreciate it.
    Thanks

Have done this but changed the code to 57538 (Europe) instead.

To change the dvd region code .

When on the main screen (Top menu screen for the Blu ray/DVD player)

    1. Press Repeat
    2. Press 57538
    3. Press 9 as soon as you see a "2" in the top left hand corner of your screen.
    4. Power off (wait a few seconds)
    5. Power on

    1 – 2 9 3 3 4 (US)
    2 – 5 7 5 3 8 (Europe)
    3 – 5 6 7 3 2 (South East Asia)
    4 – 7 6 8 8 4 (Australia / South America)
    5 – 5 3 8 1 4 (India, Ukraine, Belarus, Russia, Africa)
    6 – 2 4 4 6 2 (China)

Does not work. Perhaps Samsung changed the codes (most likely).
