Instead of writing livestreamer , write the exact place , example "d:\livestreamer\livestreamer.exe" .

Hi everyone! This thread has been super useful. However I have not been able to solve my problem.

I am trying to download a video from http://meloman.ru/concert/mezhdunarodnyj-master-klassprofessora-yuisimonovabrzaklyuchi...lassa/#webcast.

The url for this video is http://records.meloman.facecast.net/files/KZCH/14-07-08-19-00-FHD-KZCH.mp4. Although I've found other variants (http://records.meloman.facecast.net/files/KZCH/14-07-08-19-00-HD-KZCH.mp4 and http://records.meloman.facecast.net/files/KZCH/14-07-08-19-00-SD-KZCH.mp4) lurking the source code.

As with previous examples in this thread, the command I've used is:

livestreamer --http-header "Referer=http://meloman.facecast.net/v/facecast_player.swf" "hls://http://records.meloman.facecast.net/files/KZCH/14-07-08-17-00-FHD-KZCH.mp4" best -o video.mp4

The output is:

I have tried other --http-header variants that I saw in the code ".../v/GrindPlayer.swf" as well as combinations for the different video urls I found (written above).

I have also tried running it as root but hasn't worked either. I'm puzzled and annoyed beyond relief and would greatly appreciate any help you could give.

I should also mention that the file is quite big (20Gb), I'm not sure if there are any limitations in that regard.

Use youtube-dl on the command line to dump the json if you want the direct url to the m4v:

youtube-dl "http://www.npo.nl/dwdd-summerschool/21-07-2016/VARA_101379346"

The m4v can be also be obtained manually, but you'll have to get a token and then do three more steps to get the m4v. Much faster using youtube-dl.
