1) download https://github.com/chrippa/livestreamer/releases/download/v1.12.2/livestreamer-v1.12.2-win32.zip
2) unzip the file in C:\
3) so you have C:\livestreamer-v1.12.2 folder
4) open cmd.exe (command shell)
5) in this command shell go to C:\livestreamer-v1.12.2

cd C:\livestreamer-v1.12.2

7)in your command shell

to find mp4 url it's not an easy way. i use mobile device (android 4.4) and i sniff traffic. Perhaps there is an easier way, but I have not found

YOUTUBE-DL is a command line tool. You should learn how to use command line tools properly. In the meantime you can try to use a graphical interface in combination with YOUTUBE-DL.

Thanks nullacht, I'm sure you know what you are doing but it doesn't work for me unfortunately. That youtube-dl program doesn't even start, so I can't give a command. I'm just hoping I can request some direct mp4 links from time to time, since I really can't get the hang of this.

Also, currently I am dealing with another issue regarding Silverlight. When I want to record a tv program directly from my digital tv receiver, I can only watch it back through the receiver and/or online with Silverlight on the website of my tv provider's company. It says play but you can't save it anywhere. Anyone who has a solution to directly save those videos as well? Thank you.

That's right. It shows that if your not watching it from a US location / using a VPN.

Region locked / geo blocked.

I've had some levels of success via the VDH plugin, but the site (tubi tv) has a tendency to every now and then send the video back to the starting point which throws VDH off and appends the start onwards again to the video stream downloaded. I've tried quickly clicking back to where it was up to, but even then you have that first little starting bit at the start of the video download (in VDH) stream appended to where it was up to. So getting a-hold of the actual mp4 file would be GREATLY beneficial.

It's one of those cases of the website being the only free site available to watch the movie. Hence my frustration.
