If you do a search on these forums you will find endless examples of the long-winded version of hech's answer to your sincere but fallacious premise. Don't take it personally.

Just because it was easy to unlock DVD players in the past, does not mean it is easy today. Most DVD and Blu-Ray players made today have no hacks available.

The region codes can be hard coded in the firmware or encoded on a chip instead of being controlled by setting that can be changed with the player's remote control or service remote. Even when the region code can be changed using a remote control, the availability of a hack depends on someone working for the manufacturer, a service center, or an importer leaking it. If they keep that information to themselves, there are no hacks.

And even if your player is old and you only now discovered that you need a hack for it, that doesn't mean there ever was one. Judging by the name of your player it is probably a rebadged copy of someone else's model. The only problem is to find out what it was originally.
My Medion DVD recorder started life as an LG, but was then later rebadged as Medion to be sold in Aldi stores in Germany.....before Medion got big.

I missed the fact that the OP's DVD player is a discontinued model. However, the explanation I gave as to why a hack might be unavailable still applies. Even in the past, hacks were not available for every player, or only worked with those sold in particular countries (but not the USA) or that had a certain firmware version installed.
