MultiAVCHD and HCenc bitrate issue

Hi Forum,

I'm trying to convert MKV (1080p) to DVD by MultiAVCHD. Everything looks good, but I want to increase bitrate to get better quality on DVD+R DL.

But no matter what bitrate I give, the log always say it using 8000.

This is a know issue?

Oops. I missed the hcenc part in the thread title.....

But 8Mbit/s should be enough. I doubt you will se any differrence with max bitrate 9.8Mbit/s.

Check the VOB files in MediaInfo. If it also says the max bitrate is 8000 and if there's no way to change that in MultiAVHD, then use a different program. Maybe AVSToDVD.

Yeah, MediaInfo says from 6800 to 8004. MultiAVCHD allow to change, but it's not really using it.
