a lot of thumbnails on a page and each of them links to the big image, I don't want to go through the bothersome work- click and save - for each individual thumbnails. I want to know if there are any freeware that could automatic the process of downloading the full images (a must) and the thumbnail images (not a must)
Any possibilities? Thank you so much and thanks for your time reading.

Great tool. Just remember, for your purposes:
The selection window contains two tabs, for two different types of downloads:
The Links tab containing all downloadable links found on the page
And the Pictures and Media tab containing all pictures and other media as shown on the page
Full-size images are often only linked from gallery pages, hence you'll find them in the Links tab
