SubtitleCreator automatically adding spaces after periods?

Anyone else experience this? Is there any way to get it to stop?

Examples:

- My subs: "Textextextextext."

- SubtitleCreator: "Textextextextext. "

- My subs: <i>Textextextextext.</i>

- SubtitleCreator: <i>Textextextextext. </i>

Found out what the issue was. Problem happened when I used 2.3 RC1, but went away when I downgraded to 2.2 and unselected the previously unavailable option "cleanup spaces."
