    I am new to all of this, and do not know what else to try. I have a Sony Hi8 camcorder connected to my Dazzle. The pinnacle program recognizes the dazzle and video components I am using. Everytime I try to import it tells my Failure to Capture Video. I have USB 2.0 and I have searched for drivers, being told my drivers are up-to-date. Please help if you have any suggestions as to what I should try! I would greatly appreciate any and all input. Thank you in advance!!!

    Try something other than Pinnacle's bundled software. AmaRecTVhas been reported to work with this device. See https://kb.speeddemosarchive.com/Amarectv_configuration
