Screen freeze one second when i open a video with MPC or VLC

Hi i'm Andrea, i'm new of this forum and i've this problem when i try to open a video (the screen became black and freeze for a second); this happens always when i use MPC-HC or VLC. Is this hapens fors a bad configuration of softwares or video card? Where i can post this thread? Thank you in advance for your reply.

Likely there is nothing wrong with your files or players. Some filetypes/players may need a moment to preload a certain amount of material and identify parameters, some files may actually have black encoded onto the beginning and end.

What kind of environment are you working in that you require instantaneous playback?

But this doesn't happen with my old pc... so i think that isn't the preload the problem... it's like the player trying to change screen resolution or screen fps (but it doesn't)...
