I have some large mp4 music video compilations which I'd like to save as a series of individual clips (one file per song). I can do this with Sony Vegas, but it's a laborious process and involves re-encoding each clip. Is there something out there (ideally freeware) that will let me choose the breakpoints then automatically save each clip as a separate file, preferably without re-encoding?

avidemux, open mp4, set start and stop, format: mp4, save as new mp4.

Or free video editor(adware installer) or video to video converter(under tools).
