  1. I recently bought a new motherboard but it doesn't have an idea interface. So I can't connect my HDD or DVDs, I can't afford any more money to invest on this build. Can you help?.

    Do you mean IDE connectors?

A PCI or PCI-E add-on card would be relatively inexpensive.

EDIT: I am also guessing you mean IDE/PATA connectors. Few newer motherboards do.
    And welcome to our forums.

That's what I did and it eventually worked for me. Cheap enough solution if it works. Just be sure to follow the advice in the top review under Most Helpful Customer Reviews.

I haven't seen an IDE connector on a motherboard for at least 5 years now.

    Where have you been?

Yes. Five to six years ago it was relatively easy to find a motherboard with one IDE connector and a floppy connector as well as SATA. I bought one in the third quarter of 2009. In 2011 it was more difficult to find one, but I remember doing that for someone. There are still a few consumer motherboards with IDE available for AMD Socket AM3, AMD Socket AM3+ and Intel Socket LGA 775, but not newer CPUs.

  9. Get a IDE-to-SATA adapter, they sell for just a couple dollars online.
