I recently bought a new motherboard but it doesn't have an idea interface. So I can't connect my HDD or DVDs, I can't afford any more money to invest on this build. Can you help?.

 EDIT: I am also guessing you mean IDE/PATA connectors. Few newer motherboards do.

	I haven't seen an IDE connector on a motherboard for at least 5 years now.

	Yes I must of got it wrong, its got no IDE connectors, only sata. Last edited by marcuslane; 18th Jan 2015 at 06:42. Reason: spelling

	Yes. Five to six years ago it was relatively easy to find a motherboard with one IDE connector and a floppy connector as well as SATA. I bought one in the third quarter of 2009. In 2011 it was more difficult to find one, but I remember doing that for someone. There are still a few consumer motherboards with IDE available for AMD Socket AM3, AMD Socket AM3+ and Intel Socket LGA 775, but not newer CPUs.
