How to maintain subject color but rest is b/w in Adobe Premiere Elements 11

I shot footage of little girl holding a red rose. How can I keep the red color on rose but the rest (girl and background) in black and white ?
I only have APE 11. Thanks.

Describe the shot - specifically how much movement is there , and what are the other colors in the shot?

The 2 general methods are A) rotoscoping (moving masking) B) isolating by hue/saturation (e.g. green screen color keying, except for "red" in your case)

Premiere elements might not have enough control for rotoscoping, but I think it has a basic keyer ? Obviously this won't work if the girl is weaing a red dress the same "shade" as the rose.
