Converting AVI to VCD

Hi

I'm ok at ripping and converting DVD's to VCD and SVCD, however, I recently d/l'd some films, notably Blade 2 and Jeepers Creepers. They are both in 2 parts and play fine through media player. When I try to load em into Tpmgenc it comes up with unsupported file format blah blah and wont work. I've tried loading various codacs and gone through the VCDhelp instructions with a fine toothcomb but to no avail. I've got a prog called AVI2VCD to work and it encodes but has no options like TMPGENC to alter quality and other settings.

Any ideas on what i'm doing wrong?

Try this out.
In Tmpgenc, choose options - environmental setting - VFAPI plugin. Change the priority to 1 for Directshow Multimedia Reader, and 0 for all the others.
