Hello,
Recently i bought new desktop. it is
500gb HDD, 4GB RAM,
AMD A4-6300 APU with RAdeon (tm) Graphics 3.70GHZ
installed windows 7 64bit,
my system configuration is about look like the above.
when i am converting videos though xilsoft, format factory etc.. its taking too much time to convert a video.
example when i am converting about 40videos in batch. these videos are from some original mkv to 720p mp4 videos.. its taking around 7hours to complete these 40videos.
not only for hd. but its taking too much time to convert videos. my pc is just 1month old. and its speed except conversation things. please suggest me good configuration for converting?

You can try freemake video converter. It's fast. But be very carefull when you install it and deselect all annoying adware crap.
But why do you need to convert? And convert to what? If just converting from mkv to mp4 try first mkv2mp4. -

For the same video clip encoding speed depends on used encoder settings. Different GUIs use have different default settings for the same encoder. VidCoder and Freemake Video Converter use x264 for H.264 encoding as part of HB.exe or ffmpeg.exe You can't change settings in Freemake but you can in VidCoder. Just select faster preset (fast, faster, veryfast, superfast, ultrafast).

reddy, just use smrpix's suggestion above. Trust me, I have tried doing what you want and it was a continual hassle. Once I started to use Vimeo and Youtube my life became mush easier. Youtube also allows branding (your watermark). They do it for you so that you don't have to re-encode your vids. And they support most every kind of playback device.
