Just checking up on this one. Whenever a program previously unknown to me is not mentioned in the Tools Section here, I generally take that as a negative sign. (Nor did I find anything else from this company, about which I also have some doubts.) The easy bet is that I'll find reports of unacceptable adware, or "phone home" type behavior. But that's why I'm asking. Already did a Forum threads keywords search, which came up with nothing.

I tried install it....you get an option to download other mooo software but after I deselected it looks okey.

It's a simple editor that uses ffmpeg code to cut. It worked to cut one random mp4 but failed make a working wmv. Uninstalled.

    Thanks for that report, Baldrick.

Something simple, versatile, and reliable -- as this claimed to be -- would have been most welcome. Some day I will get serious about learning some more capable editing programs, but most of the tasks I run into are more of the quick and basic variety. As I've mentioned before, my favorite editor of this kind remains Movica (basically a front end for ASFbin) . . . but that works only on WMV files (and not all types of WMV, either), and its development halted quite some time ago. If there was a Movica that also cut MP4, MKV, MPG, etc., that would be ideal for me, for like 85 % of the editing I wind up doing. But instead you need a basket of 8 or more programs, tailored to work on the various different video file formats. I've tried Video to Video and several others, so far not really gaining proficiency with any of them. None of them seem to have the almost-zero-learning-curve that Movica did, in my opinion. It may not do anything fancy, but for most WMV it is effective and efficient for excising clips, or for deleting a lot of unwanted material while retaining the rest. That is why it remains a benchmark to me for basic programs of this type. Too bad this one does not measure up. Maybe I need to give Machete a closer look . . . ?
