    I am using tmpgenc 12f. I have converted many movies but never come across this problem so hopefully somebody will help me. Well here it goes, when i go to start converting dinosaur from avi to mpeg1 vcd format as soon as i click start a window pops up and says ERROR OCCURRED WHEN AUDIO IS DECODED what the hell does that mean and how do i fix it? Somebody must know out there, would you please be kind to tell me. THANK YOU

    Extract the audio from the avi with V-Dub. Convert that audio stream into a wav file.

    On the input video selection in TMPG choose your "Dinosaur" avi.
    Then choose your extracted wav file for audio in.

    If you need more help they have this procedure in the how to section.

    Here's the heading
    If TMPGEnc freezes or crashes when converting a DivX, ASF, SMR or nAVI try to convert the audio to wav before converting. Use virtualdub read here how to do it.
