Hi guys
can anyone help me is there any chance to capture LG TV screen, for example through HDMI cable or something like that? I have this type of LG TV, and i know that there is a recording function on this tv, but i want to record something from my smart tv apps, are there ANY chance to do this? can i somehow connect my tv to pc to do this??

I doubt that as most tvs has no video output.
But can't you find any similar apps on your pc? -
Only via a smart tv box and hdmi capture device as pass through.
Very few late model tv's have video outputs, becoming rare. -

Yes, if your TV is the only device that allows you to view the content that you want to record. The TV's recording function won't work for recording anything other than the output from its tuner. It looks like the TV doesn't have an outgoing video connection that you could record from either.Originally Posted by kasda

As already suggested, if you can use an app on a PC, or on another device with HDMI out to watch the same content, the content could be recorded. -
Maybe there is a little chance, if your TV has a USB port and if your remote control have a rec button.
When a USB key or external hard drive is plugged with some TV and when you pushing the rec button, what happens on TV is recording in .mp4 or .avi on the usb key and to stop the capture you press the "stop" button.
Later, you check what is in the usb key with your computer, to see if it record properly.
