In every other case, Handbreak has always separated TV episodes out individually. However, recently when I went to encode Sports Night (awesome show), it only gave the option to encode all 8 episodes into one single file. Luckily it puts chapter breaks to separate the episodes within the file, so I can still skip between. But I'd much rather have the individual episodes

I also use Freemake Video Converter from time to time as a back up and the same thing happened. Only option upon import is to encode into one single file. So is there a work around for this at all?

  2. You can break it into episodes before ever feeding them to your encoder. One way is to decrypt in IFO Mode using DVDDecrypter, selecting the chapters corresponding to each episode. Another that usually works with the DVD already on the hard drive is to save out VOBs by VOB ID using PGCDemux.
