  1. Hello guys,

I have an annoying problem. Often when I resize a video with Avidemux it gets a small black border on the right side. It's either 2px, 4px or 6x or no border. But never more than 6px. If I want to remove the border, I always have to crop the video after resizing it. This is complicated. I don't want to crop it afterwards. What is this black border on the right side and is there a way to avoid it?

If I convert the file to a .gif, then it looks strange. Please watch the attachments.

    Regards, Basher06.

  2. What does mediainfo (view=>text) say about the source file ?

Some codecs work better with mod4, 8 , or 16 resolutions (evenly divisible by those numbers). 16 is the best, then 8, then 4 . Your gif is 462 width, which gives you a non integer number when divide by 4 . Try resizing to 464 width instead

or It might be a buggy avidemux version, you can try another version
