First time using DVDStyler and just finished burning a DVD and got no error messages and all looked well. When put DVD in a player, player states that it cannot play it. Tried two players and the same message. When opened disc on windows explorer, all DVD files look to be there, but the first vob plays for a few seconds but is a black screen. All other vobs play fine in VLC player. Any ideas?

The program looks pretty intuitive to use, could I have done something wrong?

Use vlc open folder option (Media -> Open Folder...) instead of opening vobs directly and report the result.

What kind and brand of media are you using?

hech54 you nailed it. The stupid menu defaults to PAL. I never noticed it. The disc was burned in PAL format that is why it wouldn't play on the set top player. After I set it to NTSC, all was fine.

I use IMGBURN for burning and burned it on a Verbatim 4X DVD-RW for test purposes.

Pretty nice free program for my needs.
