How to move subtitles a bit down in PotPlayer?

Hello everyone,

I'm using PotPlayer 1.6.49876 and and wondering how I can move the text a bit down into the black bar instead of on the video..



Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so very much for your time in advance.

Use the subtitle settings: Preferences -> Subtitle -> Font Style -> Position. You may run into problems with multi-line subs.

PotPlayer settings can be a bit complicated. I think you need to play with these ones (in Preferences (F5) - Subtitles):

- 'Display bitmap subs outside vid. image' and 'Display subs under video (if possible) - ticked

- 'Display text subs inside video image' - unticked or (I don't know a correct word for this) blue square marked.

And you can fine tune them in Subtitles - Font Style - Position & Margin - Bottom margin.
