    I went to go use my bluray drive and it is locked will not eject and it is called a dvd/cdrw in explorer.

    I have it hooked up to a startech usb sata device haven't had a probem in a year.


    Should I get a new drive or fix it?

    You should start by plugging the drive to the motherboard SATA port instead of the Startech USB-SATA bridge, if it works you know it's not the problem.
