  1. Hi.

I have used Microsoft Expressions 4 and Open Cloners Stream-Cloner Screen Capture feature. I have also tried other screen capture programs.

I noticed that when I selected the frames per second as 30 fps or 60 fps, I was not achieving that. It was usually 15fps - 20fps. I'm using Windows Vista. I looked in Task Manager and RAM was only at 60%. CPU was at no more than 60%. I have an AMD Quad-core 3.4GHz processor and 3.5/4GB of RAM.

I am unsure why this happens. Any suggestions?

Are there any recommended free or pay screen capture programs that can save as 1920x1080 with 30fps - 60fps?

    Thanks.

Of course. Mirillis Action will record 1080p@60 without lag.

I make my tutorials using this.

  3. Thanks Cauptian. Did you pay for the full-version? How is the audio capture of the screen (not a microphone).

I noticed that Open Cloners Stream-Cloner Screen Capture feature reduced Windows Vista to Vista Basic. That has never happened before.

Yes. I translated for Brazilian language and Team Mirillis give me a licensed version.

Its default in capture. You select the input (audio onboard or mic or both)

    It doesnt with Mirillis Action!

  5. Are there any suggestions for Windows XP? I have a multi-boot system. Sometimes I need XP screen captured. The Mirillis Action is for Vista, Win 7, etc.
