Vidcoder. Under settings and video can you change output file size. Convert to a mp4.

    You must give more information.

How much are you trying to shrink? Like from 4GB to 100MB.
What are the source video properties? Video codec, bitrate, frame size/resolution, identify with mediainfoxp.

Use similar h264 profile and x264 settings. 16 reframes, 5.1 High Profile, etc. You can adjust it under video settings in vidcoder. Or google for vidcoder low file size presets.

I guess you should adjust some more settings too...But some x264 guru has to help with that.

It looks like that was encoded with the x264's veryslow preset. Beware that many devices will not play ref=16, bframes=8, etc. You'll be limiting yourself to playback on a PC.

And just because that video looks ok (to you, not to me) at 342 kbps doesn't mean other videos will look that good at the same bitrate. Different videos require different bitrates to achieve similar quality.

i did not seen any reframe 16 option in vidcoder and in handbrake .. can anyone help me to find out this option ? screenshot will be a best for me

  18. Just step down to a lower preset, say slow or medium. Settings slower than the slow preset make very little difference with most material. Or in handbrake you can use the Advanced tab instead of presets. In handbrake --ref is "Reference Frames", --bframes is "Maximum B-Frames".

  19. Here's the default x264 presets/tunes for Handbrake

I normally use MeGUI or Tx264 and these profiles
