Recently updated from XP to Windows 7 and reinstalled MF4 with no errors. Anyone have a solution for the above?

MF4 is old and may not be fully compatible with Win7, the updates on Corel's website only go back to MF6. Try XP compatibility mode by right-clicking on the desktop icon(Properties->Compatibility). If that doesn't help then install VideoLAN which will install codecs, QT Alternative may also be required.
