I'm making SVCD's using VCDEasy and when the program goes to compile the .bin file I get a
"Padding on the fly. Hope that's OK." message.
The program then proceeds to add 105 MB of padding to my SVCD jumping it from 770 MB to 885, clearly to large. My .mpg files were created using TMPGEnc with a variable bit rate (Range 2200 max to 300 min) and a quality of 65.
The questions are:
Is there anyway to turn off the padding in VCDEasy?
How can I create my original mpg's so they don't have to be padded?
What is the goal of the padding?
Thanks

To avoid padding, you need to have multiplexed your file correctly first. I suggest that you remultiplex your MPEG-2 file with bbMPEG before bringing it into VCD Easy/VCDImager.
