Problems with Sony Vegas Pro 12 Media Generators

Hello, people. I am newbie at Sony Vegas. I've been searching for some tutorials. I am trying to insert some media from Media Generators, but most of the tutorials seem to have a different interface. When I add any media, it opens a different window (which seems to have limited features).

The same thing happens when I try to add transitions or other effects. It opens a window that is different from what it is in most of the tutorials I see, which don't use any new installed effects, only the original ones from Vegas.

How do I manage to open the window as it is in the first image?
