Not everyone getting the error you received are getting it for the same reason. As I stated, I updated Flash every time I tried to view a youtube video in Firefox and although it helped for the video I was trying to watch, I still had to update the next video I tried to watch. As we stated, the issue wasn't with the Flash plugin or a VLC plugin (since I don't have VLC) but had to do with the HTML5 player that Google uses for youtube. For Chrome, installing the "Disable Youtube™ HTML5 Player" plugin fixes the problem and for Firefox...
To disable HTML5 player in Firefox do the following:
1) type "about:config" in the address bar
2) go to the "media.webm.enabled" setting and
3) change it to "false" by simply doubleclicking it
From now on Firefox will use only the flash player for Youtube videos.

Seems like everybody is having this problem. I'm having problem with Firefox loading pages correctly and the same with youtube. I've been constantly flushing the DNS cache with command prompt and everything starts working again, video's play and two minutes later back to the problems again!
