Your TS is HDCP copy protected. One way to get a copy is to play it from your receiver to something like a Hauppauge PVR, which captures HD as AVCHD to a computer. The original TS itself is tied to the machine that recorded it, so you can't expect to play it on another machine, either.

What type of recorder / receiver have you recorded the TS with? Some recorders have a built in media server that makes playback over LAN (DLNA) possible. If your recorder has this feature there might be other ways of snatching the recording without HDCP..

I'm going to be little nerdy with this but his TS is not protected with HDCP. HDMI signal is protected with it. His ts was probably recorded by satellite receiver from original transport stream multiplex that has its own scrambling protection. Other than that he needs hdcp decrypter and a capture card.
