I'm experiencing problems decoding subtitles with opaque box background.
The opaque box doesn' cut off at the right side where the sub text ends.
I wonder if there's a way to install older versions of ffdshow that runs in
    latest RipBot version?

Moving you to our video conversion section.

Have you just tried with an older version of ffdshow? Does ripbot264 complain?

RipBot v1.18.1 doesn't start with my old version rev.3631 ffdshow where the opaque background subs worked.
Older versions of RipBot works but I want to use latest with HEVC encoding.
Either it's a bug in newer ffdshow versions or they have done this deliberatly.
As development of ffdshow is discontinued I want to use latest RipBot but with older ffdshow.
I think it should have been an option to install older ffdshow versions in RipBot.
I also think RipBot checks which version is installed at startup because after I've started RipBot I can install
older version of ffdshow that works with the opaque sub background.
So every time I start RipBot I must have newer ffdshow installed and afterwards install the older version.
That is very frustrating so I wonder if there's some way to bypass the RipBot checking.

FWIW --- this is the reply that I got (via P.M.) from Atak himself:

    1) install older version of ffdshow

    2) change revision number to some fake high value
NOTICE: I don't use RipBot, therefore I cannot check whether the trick works or doesn't work.
