  1. Hello

Is there any reliable recording of streaming videos online? Not the ones for youtube and popular sites, but for a normal site and for a normal streaming video.

    Any thoughts?

    Cheers!

what do you mean by reliable ?, and define what is a normal site and streaming video.

what resolution, what are your usual issues if any, etc.

fwiw, i recently purchased a stream recorder software, "123 stream recorder" i think is the name. i've only been using it for webinars and its been reliable for those. that app lets you configure the video container format, ie, mpeg, ts, flv, h264, xvid, or other codec of your choice or on your system. i've only been using mpeg2 at 4k Bitrate although i was not specificaly going for absolute quality, the videos are pretty good as they are so far. i've not actually reviewed them yet, just recording as many webinars as i could record these fast few weeks. i was recording using a laptop and i didn't want to install the usual things like firefox and plugins and what not. i just wanted something that i could control w/out guessing at url links and what will download or not. sometimes, the longer way is the better way. it just depends. anyway. good luck.
