  1. When I try to join AVI's using Virtualdub by appending another AVI I lose audio sync. Anyone know what to do?

I had that problem too, and tried the solution of taking the second and third clip and trying to delay the video to match the audio and saving them and then tried to join them with the same method and an error message came up saying that the two parts that i adjusted the video on were not compatible with the second part....i used virutaldub and i am at a loss as to what to do next...

    I'll tell ya whats going on...the place where the multiple parts were separated have a fraction (RCH) more audio or video when cut.
    Playing them seperately its not noticed but put them back together and that differece grows....By third part you are way out there......
    I dont know a good avi editor so I go ahead and encode each part to mpg and fix sync before joining all together.... Sync is some times off in one part avi's those I rip off wav file with VirtDub and use the wave as audio file when encoding.

  5. could i cut out the video a bit to help it sync? or will i get the delay no matter what(it is only a second or so out)?
