Time and volume info on the upper left corner on MPC

Hey there, today I've updated my K-Lite Codec Pack to 10.8.5 and with it, the MPC was updated to 1.7.7 as well. Before I updated these two, while I was watching videos on MPC, the time and volume info used to appear on the upper left corner when I changed them. Let's say I pressed the right arrow on my keyboard, and the video would jump 5 seconds further and the time would appear on the upper left corner. The same would happen for the volume when I increase or decrease it.

Now after the update, the time and volume info don't appear on the upper left corner when I change them. Is this something that changed with the update or can I change it through Options? I looked for something related to it but couldn't find anything.
