    Hello everyone

is there any media player on the market which can play this file? I have tryed with so many without any success.

Talking about TS MPEG4 4:2:2 HD file, profesional video feed with high bitrate, here is a sample

    http://wsi.li/1n9oKQ2j1qHr/

If anyone can try with Popcorn or some better media player that would be great.

VLC or MPC-HC can play it.

Perhaps your computer and/or your disk is too slow to play it.

  4. Mention of the Popcorn Hour indicates he's looking for a standalone player, not software. My WDTV Live was unable to play it. The audio played but the picture was black. My LG BD-670 Blu-ray player (which plays many media files) refused to play it at all.

You may be able to play it through a tablet connected to your TV via HDMI cable...

I'd test it, but don't feel like waiting for the long download.

I haven't downloaded it but I have posted a mediainfo log of a file that might be in the same ball park - if it is then this file plays both on my computer (VLC) and my Popcorn C200. Maybe you should post a Mediainfo log of your file.

  8. The problem is h.264 with YUV 4:2:2 chroma subsampling. Few standalone devices will play that.

    Its not the same type.

Your file is High 4:2:2 MPEG-PS, my is High 4:2:2@L4.0 MPEG-TS

High 4:2:2 plays like a charm on my WDTV, but High 4:2:2@L4.0 does not

A Chromebox running OpenELEC with the hardware decoding turned off will probably play this.

Of course, at that point you're just running a small PC. And you'll probably need an i3 or better based Chromebox to decode the video in software.

I eventually downloaded the file and can confirm the Popcorn C200 doesn't play it nor my Beyonwiz T3 (Enigma2 clone). Looking at the Popcorn site for later models there is this unit that you might care to investigate Open Hour Chameleon. I don't have one yet but from what I've read it will handle H265 encodes

Tested on Open Hour Chameleon but unfortunatelly its not working. Audio plays fine but picture is all green.

After all, this video is not h265.

I doubt you would need the i3, especially if you are running something with very little overhead like OpenELEC. When I have turned off the hardware decoding for playback of BD rips on my Celeron based Chromebox the CPU utilization never gets above 75%. OP's info indicates that the bitrate is lower than many Blu-Rays so I doubt it would struggle.

I will download the clip today and check.
