  1. I have TMPGEnc Plus and Divx Codec 5 Installed but the program doesnt recognize Divx. Is there a way to plce it manually in the TMPGEnc Folder.?

  2. I to have have half that problem.
    The divx will load in but!!!!.The audio is not recognised.There is only 1 Divx file containing both audio and video.The video workd fine and it translates it into MPEG 2 for DVD burning ,BUT wirh no AUDIO any


    ANY ideas>>>>>>

  3. go to Options-Environmental Settings-VFAPI plugins

    change the priority of your Direct Show filter to 0 (zero)

    close TMPGEnc

    now it should be fine when you open it back up

  4. Let me correct this I can open the DivX the sound is there but the picture isn't.

  5. I had that problem also

    uninstall DivX 5.0 it doesnt play the earlier DivX files correctly in TMPGEnc

    re-install the original DivX files

  6. Thanks CHAPS.i have done what you said and got the audio up and running.Now a new problem .The picture is very stuttering/jumpy.
    Is this to do with the audio problem.I have no problems playing the orig DIVX or any AVIs.But the converted MPEG2 is jittery.SO CLOSE YET SO FAR.
    Please a little more help.

    I tried the converstion on best quality for the motion setting.No differance. ifferance.

    have the same problems my friend try loading nimo v.4.4 insted of divx seeing as how it loads 3.11 and 4.1 aswell as some other helpful codecs and it should work fine during conversion

  8. When I have a cranky divx I use virtualdub to convert to a cleaner avi (use huffyuv or indeo or some clean codec) then tmpgenc doesn't complain
