  1. Hi folks,

    I have couple of Questions

Q1: Is there a way to repackage (without Re-Encoding) a H.265 Encoded MKV file so it will play back on current Stand-alone media players ... like Netgear EVA-9100 or WDTV and so forth?

Q2: If not, what is the Fastest Converter (GUI type) to convert H.265 to H.264?

    Thanks,

    G!

    1. Your media player must support h265. Most doesn't. Just repackage wont help.

  3. Hi Baldrick,

    Thanks for your reply.

Yep, I played the file on my Netgear media player, I got Audio and No Picture. BTW, using VLC on my laptop I don't really see that much of a difference in pictures between H.264 and H.265 encoded projects.

  4. But file size should be smaller with H265.
