I don't know if this has already been discussed, if not, then this may be some help to someone. I did a sound recording on my phone to use in a tutorial and transferred it to my PC. To my surprise it had an .amr extension and could only be playable in MPC-HC on my system. None of my Audio editors could open it. Then I discovered that Avisynth could open it via "FFAudioSource" and I could feed that .avs file to Goldwave and save as .wav.
Never knew that Goldwave could open avs files........learn something new every day.
