Adobe Premiere fine-grained audio selection in timeline?

If I create a selection of audio in the source panel, I can be precise. Can I get the in and out points to appear on the timeline then? Or can I use markers form the source panel in the timeline?

The audio display in the timeline is not even close to being fine grained enough for me to do any editing.

Zoom into the sequence. You can set the sequence to display audio samples in the sequence settings, and in the sequence drop down menu "show audio time units"

(In Adobe speak, the "timeline" is called a "sequence" )
