    hi

    after days looking for a video editor , i ended to buy an adobe abonnement for premiere cc

    and today i found out Lightworks 12

    and i found out it's free

    does Lightworks 12 use smart rendering like premiere virtualdub or avidemux ?

    i gave a look ,can find it , if yes can i know the video containers supported

    abonnement = subscription, aahh.

    Lightworks is free, yes, but that is the crippled version. It can ONLY output low-med bitrate AVC/MP4, IIRC. To get the un-crippled, full version, it also costs money.

    Also, for compatibility's sake, you are probably better off with PProCC anyway.

    Unless you are talking about the crippled version it seems to me that Lightworks is actually more expensive than Premiere Pro.
