  1. My PC:Windows XP, 2GB RAM, AMD Athlon 64 X2 5200+ 2,61GHz,Radeon x1300 256MB
    My Home Theater:LG LH-T250SC

    When download any movie about 2GB AVI 720x300 1800kbps AC3 48000 448 6 ch, I only want to change resolution in 720X480 because 720x300 on my CRT TV is small.

    I use Divx Converter 10.2.3 when convert movie with this settings: pass original audio track,resolution 720x480 1800kbps ; when play movie on home theater video and audio is not sync, sound befor image. With VirtualDub, Direct Stream Copy,remux from divx to avi and test this but not work; video and audio is not sync. With this settings: pass original audio track,resolution 720x480 850kbps ; video and audio is sync but video bitrate is very low.

    Search new converter which support AC3 6ch and I found Xilisoft Video Converter. I convert downloaded movie with this converter to AVI/DIVX format MPEG-4 codec and home theater don't play this. With this AVI codec:XVID 720x480 1500kbps AC3 44100 320 6ch, movie work ok but home theater play only 1hour of 2hour of movie.

    Any idea how to solve this problem?

    SOLUTION:
    This old home theater not correctly support new DIVX/XVID movies with big bitrate (video and audio is not sync) but it very good support DVD-VIDEO (MPEG2 (HCEnc) & AC3/DTS (eac3to) and make DVD with DVDAuthorGUI).
    Make AviSynth script and use HCenc with default settings:
    Video = DirectShowSource("D:\Movies\movie name.avi") - Video source

    Video = Video.ConvertToYV12()
    Video = Video.AddBorders(0,84,0,84)
    - set up black frame on video
    Video = Video.Spline16Resize(720,576)

    return Video

    Can't you zoom the image with your LG player or TV?

    Much easier than reconverting and also mess up the aspect ratio/stretch video.

  3. Yes, min. 100x this is overmuch big zoom and it isn't solution.
    Why when download AVI movie duration 02:20:00, home theater play only 02:01:38 of movie?

    If you change 720x300 into 720x480 you will get everything stretched vertically.

    Stretched vertically don't mind me if image will be larger. Yet 720x480 is big better 720x400.

    With this settings: pass original audio track,resolution 720x480 850kbps ; video and audio is sync but video bitrate is very low.
    Increase the bitrate then, in virtualdub under video->compressions and choose xvid and click settings/properties.

    When I said video bitrate is very low, I thought that image quality is low.
    With VirtualDub I increase bitrate but image is unchanged.

  8. Duration of movie with XVID video codec is 2:16:24 but my home theater play only 1:18:38.
    If video codec is DIVX, home theater play full movie.
    What's the problem with XVID codec on my home theater?

    Maybe it's a media file size limit. What are you playing this from, a FAT32 formatted thumbdrive?

    I playing this from CD/DVD, my home theater do not support USB.
    Media file size is smaller than 2GB.
