Full screen TV problem

When i got my card, the first time I tried full screen, it was fine. the quality was good. now though, i can only make the screen about 1/4 size of the screen before it starts looking crap. The left side of the picture is fine, but as it gets further to the right side, the picture has lines all over it and it lookings like it is having trouble keeping up with displaying the picture. i'll try to put a picture of what it is like later, but does anyone know how i can fix it? is it a driver problem?
