After thinking it over I was thinking if it was possible to create audio cds steering off the standards (like XVCD for VCDs) thus being able to fit more audio onto a CD while still being to play it in CD players?
I understand that there is Mp3 CD players etc etc, but this was just a thought that popped in my head today and thought Id see what others thoughts on it were.
The only things I think of being problems would be burning it as an Audio CD without the burning program having a whinge, or converting the files into proper CDDA tracks. And also players not supporting it.
But worth a thought anyway...
Thanks.

The only way of extending it is through overburning. If you did anything else the burner and shit might be able to burn the CD but it would be extremely doubtful that a Hi-Fi/Car Stereo etc would play it.
