  1. Hi

I've got a load of .mkv vidoes with theme song between the cold opening and the main part. I tried to cut the theme out with MKV Cutter but for some reason neighboring frames (or index) freeze on playback randomly in some episodes after cutting, but I also heard about delaying tracks in an mkv. Is it possible to edit an .mkv file so that it skips let's say the part from 4.50 to 5.15 minutes without actually cutting it out to avoid messing up the video? If yes, is it possible to skip more than one part in one video?

I don't think I have seen any such feature for mkv...or any other container.

    Ordered chapters.

    Use the MMG chapter editor.

-edit- ordered chapters only work with certain players though.
