Not long after buying a Nook HD+ tablet, I found that touching the screen while watching a YouTube video allowed me to record and store that video. (A white rectangle appears with the lettering "save video". Clicking that starts the download.)

I searched thru the onboard apps, and can't find anything that would explain it.

Let's face it, that's not a feature you'd expect would be included on a tablet of any kind.

    It gets more interesting.

Recently, while watching a streaming video, I tried it, and while it took a number of tries touching the screen, finally the rectangle appeared and I was able to click it and store the entire streaming video as well.

Does anyone know of an app that lets you do this, and produces the white rectangle with the "save video" lettering? I have no idea how it would have gotten on my tablet.

I also have a newer tablet I'd love to install the app on, if I can only find out what app it is and where it came from!

Sorry. Hadn't noticed the "streaming" forum until it was too late. Guess I'm still a bit of a newbie. Uh.... YOU don't know anything about this, tho, do you?
