Here is part of an srt file that has font color data. The subtitles appear fine using VLC player, but I prefer not to have any font data in the srt file. I just want the basic subtitles with the timing. What tool can be used to eliminate the font color data from the whole srt file?

Search for strip html software or use an online html stripper like http://www.striphtml.com .
-
Or open the .srt in Subtitle Edit. Mark all (CTRL+a). Right click and select Normal. Save.
-
Open the SRT file in Notepad and replace <font color="white"> with nothing. Repeat for any other unwanted commands.

If you have multiple files (not only .srt, but any text file), Inforapid Search and Replace is great for replacing strings of text. Highly recommended!
