Hello,
I'm looking for a 'Video analyser online' id : an url which offers the same services as NBO Builder, MediaInfo, GSpot, etc ...
I indicate a file (.avi, .mp4, .mkv, etc) on my hard disk and it give me technical data from my file as :
* codec video, dims (height * width), framerate, length
* codec audio (number of chanels, codec for each one, framerates ...
* name of container
free, of course
Best thing : with an API : it will be great !!

to assume no tcheater
(not to be necessary to verify)
Why why ? May my answer coult have an incidence to the answer of my question ? -
-
OK ! forget my second question so ... No need of reasons why or explain, please
-
Why in heavens name would you want to go online to find information available locally without a network connection, delay, errors, etc? If you want to know the truth just interrogate the file with one of those methods you listed. Media Info usually reads MetaData first and if you want real data strip it off first.
Bad data
Stripped and corrected. -
And why are there sites whiwh propose tu convert your file "on line" ?? Every body can do the job locally then why those services are offered 'online' ?
Sorry to trouble you on "the reason why".
I read "Video and Help" . I try ... Thanks for your help !
After some hours, I could suppose you have not answer. -
I know somebodies who have no email-adress ! and my own father needs to convert his movies camera online !! I'd tried to explain him how works very simple (but not great converters) ... but not ! He preffer online tools .
And ... again ... no interest the reason why to my question !
But thanks again of your "no answer" -
You did not get an answer because nobody here (including me) would use an online analysis service to obtain information about their media files. As was already pointed out to you, it is more convenient to install and use software like MediaInfo for that purpose when such information is needed often.
Google found this:

I have never used this service and I am not willing to test it for you.Last edited by usually_quiet; 23rd Oct 2014 at 07:13.

I know that MediaInfo have binaries for CentOS. Now that I know it's realisable I think I'll try to my server... only 265kb !! Yes !
and, again, a great thank to usually_quiet !!Last edited by ArouG; 23rd Oct 2014 at 11:33. Reason: thanks again
