Editing AVC files without re-encoding

Hi,

Is it possible to edit AVC encoded files (trim out portions, joining multi-part files, etc), without re-encoding? I've been doing the same thing with MPEG4/MP3 encoded files using VirtualDub, but haven't been able to do the same for AVC files.

Avidemux. Under video and audio choose copy.
