In general, for TV websites you have to have a streaming media recorder and record in real time while the video plays.

wmcapture. if your computer is slow, record in background mode with the window minimized. You can download certain codecs to get better picture quality. i use it with x264vfw lossless mode, that is a cpu intensive codec with great picture quality. There are other codecs better for slow computers.
these are the tested codecs that work:

I would not expect this to work correctly on more than 1 video at a time, but there's nothing stopping you from testing it and perhaps proving me wrong.

On the mac, to capture streaming video, I use iShowU. It's cheap and works well.

youtube-dl supports downloading from cbs.com and nbc.com, so long as it is publicly available content (meaning; no sort of authentication required). It runs on the command line;
youtube-dl "url of page with video on cbs or nbc"
done, and done. -
Is there any capture software that allows for multiple captures of videos? John

Aimersoft You Tube Downloader will download NBC utilizing the URL. They have a free trial (5Xs) then you must purchase a license. Haven't used my 5X but near the end. Looking for other options but it doesn't appear that I'll be finding a better program for my Win 8.1 platform.
