I know this may have been questioned a lot, but i'll post it once more.

I recently got into a series and it would be a pain in the ass to get up of my couch to go attach the subtitles to the video whenever an episode is over,so is there any way to add a subtitle PERMANENTLY to a video? I have tried conversion programs and stuff and as for the subtitle section it worked, however it lowers the resolution A LOT, A DAMN LOT (perhaps we could say from 720p down to...480?)
it seems pretty ugly either way, so i put this option out of the way. How else can i do this without using such programs?

    Thanks in advance!

How do you download series? See our warez rules https://forum.videohelp.com/threads/72386-Forum-rules-Acceptable-Use-Policy-(AUP) before you respond to that.

If you name the subtitle and video same (like video.mp4 and video.srt) should most players automatically show the subs.
